Completion of site clearance for the new urban area project Duong Kinh - Kien Thuy

The project to invest in building a new urban area in Duong Kinh - Kien Thuy area through Kien Minh commune (Hai Phong) has completed site clearance, on schedule.

Leaders of Kien Minh Commune Party Committee awarded certificates of merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in site clearance work.

The new urban area construction investment project in Duong Kinh - Kien Thuy area has a total recovered land area of ​​240.6 hectares.

The area belonging to the former Dong Phuong and Dai Dong communes (now Kien Minh commune) is 133.5 hectares, related to 998 households, individuals and 2 organizations with a total approved compensation and support budget of more than 552 billion VND. Accordingly, 129.67 hectares have been handed over, while 3.83 hectares related to 13 households have not received money or handed over the land.

Immediately after the establishment of Kien Minh commune (from July 1, 2025), the local government focused on site clearance work, actively propagating and mobilizing households.

Leaders of Kien Minh Commune People's Committee directed the site clearance work for the Duong Kinh - Kien Thuy new urban area project.

In the two phases on September 10 and October 17, 4 households voluntarily complied, and the locality carried out enforcement against 4 households with a total land area of ​​nearly 17,000 ^m2 . The enforcement phases were carried out publicly, transparently, in accordance with legal regulations and ensuring safety.

Kien Minh Commune commends and rewards individuals with outstanding achievements in site clearance work.

Currently, the entire 133.5 hectares of land clearance for the project through Kien Minh commune have been completed. This result demonstrates the consensus of the people and the decisive participation of the entire local political system.

Kien Minh Commune People's Committee commended 4 collectives and 18 individuals with outstanding achievements in site clearance work, contributing to creating favorable conditions for the construction unit to implement the project on schedule.
