Submit to the City People's Council 2 land plots for bidding for 2 residential and tourism projects

The City People's Committee has submitted a proposal to the City People's Council to issue a List of land plots for bidding for land-using projects. Accordingly, the Thu Bon Residential and Tourism Service Project (Thu Bon Commune) has an area of ​​96.69 hectares and the Ben Hien Residential and Tourism Service Project (Ben Hien Commune) has an area of ​​30.4 hectares.

It is known that the goal of the Thu Bon Residential and Tourist Service Area project is to build a complex of hotels, restaurants, residential areas, and amusement parks, contributing to creating a highlight for the My Son Cultural Tourism Area.

On September 12, 2025, Thu Bon Commune People's Committee proposed: "In order to speed up progress, ensure that legal procedures are completed and bidding for investor selection is organized in 2025, and at the same time, attract investment resources soon, creating momentum for local socio -economic development, Thu Bon Commune People's Committee requests the Department of Finance to pay attention, consider, and submit to the City People's Committee for approval of the list of land plots to organize bidding for investor selection".

Regarding the Ben Hien Residential and Tourism Service Area project, on September 17, 2025, the Department of Construction issued a document confirming that this project is basically consistent with the land use orientation in the approved planning (the General Planning dossier of Ma Cooih commune before, now belonging to Ben Hien commune).

Determining that the Ben Hien Residential and Tourism Service Area project is suitable for land use planning, the City People's Committee proposed the City People's Council to allow the approval of this land list to implement the project and simultaneously deploy investment procedures to shorten the project implementation time.

The goal of Ben Hien Residential and Tourist Service Area is to meet the needs of living space, resorts, commercial services, entertainment and consumption for residents and tourists; create conditions for the development of tourism service industries, improve infrastructure quality, improve the living environment and landscape, and promote local socio-economic development.

The above report of the City People's Committee is expected to be considered by the City People's Council for comments at the upcoming session of the 10th City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.
