Establishment of the Food Safety Department and Testing Center of Da Nang City

DNO - On November 10, the Department of Health of Da Nang city announced decisions on the establishment, organization and personnel work of a number of affiliated public service units.

Accordingly, the Department of Health announced Decision No. 2302/QD-UBND dated October 31, 2025 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City on the establishment of the Food Safety Sub-Department of Da Nang City (under the Department of Health), on the basis of reorganizing the Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department of Quang Nam and taking over the tasks of the City Food Safety Management Board.

Announcing Decision No. 2308/QD-UBND dated October 31, 2025 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City on the establishment of the Da Nang City Testing Center (under the Department of Health), on the basis of merging the old Da Nang City Testing Center and the Quang Nam Drug - Cosmetic - Food Testing Center.

In addition, announced Decision No. 2303/QD-UBND dated October 31, 2025 of the People's Committee of Da Nang city on merging the Da Nang City Specialized Food Testing Center (under the former Da Nang City Food Safety Management Board) into the Da Nang City Center for Disease Control.

On this occasion, the Department of Health also announced the decision to appoint management officials of 2 affiliated public service units. Specifically, accepting Mr. Dinh Van Tuan, Deputy Head in charge of the former Da Nang City Food Safety Management Board, to work at the Da Nang City Food Safety Department and hold the position of Head of the Da Nang City Food Safety Department. Appointing Ms. Le Thi Hong Cam, Head of the Quang Nam Food Safety Department, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Da Nang City Food Safety Department.

Appoint Ms. Tran Thi Thu Lan, Director of the Da Nang City Testing Center (old), to hold the position of Director of the Da Nang City Testing Center after the merger. At the same time, appoint Mr. Nguyen Huu Lam Thach and Mr. Hoang Anh Vu to hold the position of Deputy Directors of the center.
