Research on additional planning for housing for people
Currently, the communes of Khanh Son, Tay Khanh Son, and Dong Khanh Son have all requested the province to promptly consider directing relevant departments and branches to urgently organize inspections and provide funding to repair and restore roads to ensure smooth traffic; repair embankments and canals in the fields to protect the safety of residential areas and production land. After inspecting the situation of overcoming the consequences of floods and landslides in the communes of Khanh Son area recently, comrade Lam Dong emphasized that in the coming days, the weather will continue to be complicated, with the possibility of a new storm appearing. Therefore, communes in Khanh Son area must continue to monitor weather developments to focus on directing timely and effective response; in particular, must resolutely evacuate assets and people in low-lying areas and areas at risk of landslides to safe places. In areas at high risk of landslides on Provincial Road 9 and inter-village roads of Hon Dung, Ta Gu..., functional forces need to put up warning lines and be on duty to prevent people and vehicles from circulating when it is not safe. Comrade Lam Dong requested the Departments of Construction, Health, Agriculture and Environment, and Industry and Trade to synthesize recommendations from localities to advise the Provincial People's Committee to resolve as soon as possible; urgently support families affected by floods and landslides to overcome the damage and ensure people's lives. Khanh Son is surrounded by hills, mountains, rivers and streams, so there is a high risk of landslides. Therefore, comrade Lam Dong requested departments, branches and localities to study and propose additional planning for flat land areas, far from hills, rivers and streams to create safe places for people to live.
