Accordingly, in recent days, heavy and prolonged rainfall has occurred in Hoa Son commune, and a large section of land has collapsed on the hillside of Yang Reh village, section 4, along National Highway 27. By the afternoon of November 23rd, the collapsed section had slid down another 1 meter from its original edge, and long cracks had appeared, posing a potential risk of a major landslide in the near future. The landslide area is located near National Highway 27, and there are households living at the foot of the hill, directly affecting the safety of residents and traffic.

The People's Committee of the commune has relocated households at the foot of Yang Reh hill to a safe area. The commune's police force has been deployed to monitor and guard the surrounding area. However, due to continued rain, the risk of landslides is increasing; the People's Committee of the commune requests that provincial agencies immediately send a team of geological and technical experts to survey and assess the landslide surface, determine the cause of the landslide, and propose reinforcement plans (temporary and long-term).
