6,600 free motorcycle oil changes for union members and workers

At the first Social Housing and Employment Consultation Day in 2025, union members and workers in the city will have the opportunity to change their motorbike oil for free.

On November 24, the City Labor Federation issued a plan to change motorcycle oil for free for union members and workers in 2025.

The program is for union members and workers at all levels of the City Union, with priority given to union members in difficult circumstances, workers in boarding houses, workers far from home and people who travel regularly by motorbike.

The program takes place from December 5 to 7, 2025 at the Vietnam-Czech Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, within the framework of the first Social Housing and Employment Consultation Festival in 2025. The City Labor Federation will arrange a technical service area. An oil change includes a general vehicle inspection, free oil change and basic maintenance advice.

At the facilities, the activities are organized from December 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026 based on the registration of the grassroots union; the location is arranged in the yard of the agency, unit, or enterprise. Each location organizes oil changes for at least 200 - 500 vehicles/time. The City Labor Federation mobilizes a technical team to change the oil at the registered locations of the facilities.

It is expected that about 6,600 free oil changes will be carried out, including 300 at the first Social Housing and Employment Consultation Day and 6,300 at grassroots trade unions. The implementation budget will be drawn from the City Trade Union's financial resources.
