Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a document planning the organization of Nguyen Hue Flower Street for the Year of the Horse 2026 with many new features. Specifically, there will be an additional food court, a space for brand promotion and a series of festival and art activities spread across the neighboring streets.
This year, the Flower Street continues to be arranged on Nguyen Hue axis, from the intersection of Nguyen Hue - Le Loi to Nguyen Hue - Ton Duc Thang, marking the 23rd consecutive year of presence in the center of Ho Chi Minh City.
The 2026 Flower Street has the theme "Spring Convergence - Steadfast Steps", taking place over 8 days, opening at 7:00 p.m. on February 15, 2026 and closing at 9:00 p.m. on February 22, 2026 (from December 28, At Ty year to the end of the 6th day of Tet Binh Ngo year). The grand scenes will continue to be kept to serve the people until March 22, 2026.
The new highlight this year is the first arrangement of food courts, image and brand promotion spaces, interactive activities and festivals.
In parallel, many art and entertainment performances will be held in front of hotels and restaurants belonging to the Saigontourist Group system such as: Oscar, Palace, Kim Do, Caravelle, Sheraton, Grand, Rex, Majestic and Saigontourist Group Travel. The artistic atmosphere is expected to take place throughout the time the Tet Flower Street is open to welcome guests.
On the other hand, the city will also install 6 to 10 LED screens on Nguyen Hue axis to display images of the Flower Street over the years, promote the Tet festival and introduce the brands of the accompanying units. Locations include the intersection of Le Loi - Nguyen Hue, Union Square area, the old Tax Trade Center area, the area opposite the Sunwah building, the end of the Flower Street and the park in front of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater.
In addition to the center of Ho Chi Minh City, the locality plans to coordinate to organize additional flower street areas in Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau to spread the Tet atmosphere and expand cultural experiences for people and tourists in neighboring areas.
