The delegation of Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank) led by General Director Nguyen Huu Dang attended the 9th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the banking industry and the Conference summarizing 5 years of implementing the National Strategy on Gender Equality organized by the State Bank of Vietnam in Hanoi .

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Governor of the State Bank Nguyen Thi Hong emphasized that this is an important political event of profound significance to the entire Vietnamese banking industry - a place to gather, recognize, commend and honor heroic collectives, emulation fighters, typical advanced examples, and outstanding and comprehensive factors in the patriotic emulation movement of the banking industry.

Attending and giving a speech, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh - Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council emphasized the guiding message to the entire industry through 32 concise words: "Open institutions - Pioneering infrastructure - Flexible policies - Reasonable management - Effective solutions - Developing banks - Beneficiaries of the people - Self-reliant country". This is considered the guideline for the emulation movement and actions of the banking industry in the new development stage.

At the Congress, in the area displaying the emulation achievements of the whole industry, HDBank was one of 8 typical commercial banks selected to introduce the journey of more than 35 years of formation and development. Documents, images and outstanding indicators were solemnly presented, reflecting the industry's recognition of HDBank's role and persistent contribution in the process of developing a modern, stable and humane financial - banking system.

Over the past three decades, emulation and reward work has become an important driving force, creating a positive competitive atmosphere and a spirit of innovation at HDBank.
