Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Cao Thi Hoa An encouraged businesses to overcome damage after floods.

On the afternoon of November 25, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hoa An visited and encouraged KCP Vietnam Industrial Company Limited (KCP) after the enterprise suffered heavy damage from the recent floods.

Also attending was comrade Nguyen Quoc Hoan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.

According to Mr. KVRS Subbaiah, General Director of KCP Company, the prolonged rain and floods since November 19 have seriously affected the factory and raw material area, with estimated damage of about 80 billion VND. Of the company's more than 600 employees, over 300 had their houses flooded; 2 houses completely collapsed and 9 houses partially collapsed. Currently, about 100 employees are still unable to return to work due to the deep flooding of their houses.

Mr. KVRS Subbaiah, General Director of KCP, shared about the difficulties of the business due to the impact of the prolonged flood since November 19.

In order to share the difficulties with workers, the company has activated a welfare fund to support at the level of 6-36 million VND depending on the level of damage, and continues to research solutions to support people in affected raw material areas.

At the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Cao Thi Hoa An expressed her deep sympathy for the losses that businesses had to suffer consecutively after storm No. 13 and heavy rains and floods. She encouraged KCP to make efforts to restore production and stabilize the factory's operations to ensure jobs for workers.

Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An deeply shares the difficulties that businesses have experienced after natural disasters and floods.

Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An affirmed that Dak Lak province will always accompany businesses; assigning functional agencies to review and consider recommendations to provide timely support, helping businesses recover soon.

Provincial leaders also hope that KCP will continue to join hands with the locality to take care of the lives of workers, farmers in raw material areas and communities affected by natural disasters, contributing to helping the province overcome the current difficult period.
