On the afternoon of November 25, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hoa An visited and encouraged KCP Vietnam Industrial Company Limited (KCP) after the enterprise suffered heavy damage from the recent floods.

According to Mr. KVRS Subbaiah, General Director of KCP Company, the prolonged rain and floods since November 19 have seriously affected the factory and raw material area, with estimated damage of about 80 billion VND. Of the company's more than 600 employees, over 300 had their houses flooded; 2 houses completely collapsed and 9 houses partially collapsed. Currently, about 100 employees are still unable to return to work due to the deep flooding of their houses.

At the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Cao Thi Hoa An expressed her deep sympathy for the losses that businesses had to suffer consecutively after storm No. 13 and heavy rains and floods. She encouraged KCP to make efforts to restore production and stabilize the factory's operations to ensure jobs for workers.
