Activities of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions in the new phase

One month after the merger, the office of the Lao Cai Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions was arranged scientifically and rationally, creating the best conditions for officials and staff to perform their assigned professional duties effectively.

Mr. Vu Trong Khuynh, Head of the Religious Affairs Department of the Lao Cai Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, said: "We have instructed officials to prepare themselves mentally to take on new tasks in new positions and new units; ensuring that work proceeds smoothly according to the plan from the beginning of the year and is implemented favorably."

The departments and divisions of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions are organized scientifically, creating the best working conditions for staff.

Following the merger, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion comprises 4 divisions and 1 committee, with 42 civil servants and employees. Facing increased demands on their roles and responsibilities, each official and employee of the department consistently demonstrates a spirit of solidarity, overcoming difficulties and supporting each other to effectively carry out their assigned tasks.

Currently, the department has reorganized its facilities and assigned tasks appropriately, creating conditions for officials and employees to develop their abilities and strengths in their work. The goal is to continue improving the effectiveness of the Party and State's policies on ethnic groups and religions. Through this, it aims to further consolidate and strengthen national unity.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Duong, Head of the Policy and Ethnic Affairs Department of the Lao Cai Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, said: "We have reviewed the tasks and developed plans, assigning tasks to each colleague so that implementation can begin immediately without interruption. From there, we hold agency meetings to assign work and motivate each official to perform their new duties better."

Officials from the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions are striving to adapt to their new roles and quickly fulfill their assigned tasks.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nhan, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Lao Cai province, added: "We have reorganized the steering committees, councils, and guiding documents at the grassroots level; advised the province to reconfigure administrative procedures related to the new department to ensure that citizens, as well as religious and belief organizations in the area, can operate continuously without interruption."

Every change comes with difficulties and challenges, but the agencies and units under the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion are striving to overcome these difficulties and quickly stabilize their mindset to better perform their assigned functions and tasks. This contributes to the province's efforts to build a streamlined, efficient, and effective administrative apparatus, promoting local socio -economic development.
