Also recognized as an exemplary figure in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings during the 2023-2025 period, Ms. Tran Thuy Duong, a member of the Trade Unionof FPT Corporation, chooses to learn from President Ho Chi Minh through a spirit of lifelong learning and continuous innovation. In a rapidly changing technological environment, she always proactively updates her knowledge, enhances her professional competence and digital skills to meet job requirements.
Despite their different circumstances and fields, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dien and Ms. Tran Thuy Duong share a common trait: transforming the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings into a driving force to overcome difficulties, contribute, and successfully complete their tasks. From these specific stories, it is evident that the study of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings is increasingly becoming more profound, closely linked to the practical work and lives of trade union members and workers nationwide.
Following the Politburo's issuance of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW on continuing the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW, trade unions at all levels have concretized the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings through many creative models and methods, suitable to each locality, industry, and agency/unit. Previously, studying President Ho Chi Minh's teachings was mainly done through conferences and thematic activities; now, it has been transformed into emulation movements and specific tasks linked to the duties of each collective and individual. In particular, studying and emulating President Ho Chi Minh's teachings is closely linked to patriotic emulation movements, with the focus being the "Excellent Worker, Creative Worker" movement. From factories, construction sites, and enterprises to agencies and units, millions of trade union members and workers have transformed the spirit of studying President Ho Chi Minh's teachings into a driving force for innovation and creativity in their work.
Over the past five years, through emulation movements launched by trade unions, union members and workers nationwide have proposed nearly 2.8 million initiatives that have been applied in practice, benefiting the State and businesses by nearly 103,000 billion VND. These figures not only have economic significance but also reflect the strong spread of the movement to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh's teachings in the lives of workers and employees. From these emulation movements, nearly 96,000 individuals and nearly 30,000 exemplary collectives have been recognized and rewarded. Each person has a different background and job, but they all share a common spirit of responsibility, a will to overcome difficulties, a desire to contribute, and a determination to successfully complete their tasks.
Tens of thousands of exemplary individuals nationwide demonstrate that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style is becoming increasingly substantive and a regular practice for union members and workers. Each good deed, each initiative, and each effort to overcome difficulties in work and life is a practical way for the positive values of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style to continue spreading in today's society.
