Information indicates that tuition fees at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology are divided into three programs: the Standard program; the Advanced program, taught and learned in English; and the Japan-oriented program.
According to the announcement, the average tuition fee for the Standard program in the 2025-2026 academic year is expected to be 30 million VND, increasing by 1.5 million VND in the 2026-2027 academic year and 3 million VND in the 2027-2028 academic year.
For the Advanced Program, taught and learned in English, tuition fees for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years are approximately 80 million VND/year, increasing to 84 million VND in the 2027-2028 academic year. For the Japan-Oriented Program, tuition fees for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years are approximately 60 million VND/year, increasing to 63 million VND in the 2027-2028 academic year.

Besides tuition fee regulations, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) also announced scholarships and preferential loan programs. Specifically: Academic achievement scholarships (worth up to 120% of tuition fees/semester/scholarship) from 8% of tuition fees; Scholarship and Development Support Fund for HCMUT: 40 billion VND; Scholarships funded by foreign partners, organizations, and businesses for students with good academic performance and extracurricular activities/students facing difficulties: over 16 billion VND; Scholarships for students in international training programs; Scholarships funded by sources implemented by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM); Preferential loan program with 0% interest rate for studying from VNU-HCM; Loan guarantee and interest rate support program for students paying tuition fees from the Phu Tho - HCMUT Alumni Association Representative Board: has provided loans of over 16 billion VND after 3 years and is continuing to be widely implemented for students. The loan will be converted into a scholarship when the criteria are met; the Polytechnic Student Support Fund supports students with tuition loans at 0% interest.
