On November 23, information from the Department of Education and Training of Pleiku City (Gia Lai province) indicated that the unit is coordinating with the police to investigate the incident of several individuals hacking into the electronic LED display system of schools to post offensive content.

Previously, several offensive video clips, causing public outrage, appeared on Facebook and were displayed on electronic LED screens in front of the gates of two schools in Thang Loi Ward, Pleiku City.

Initial verification revealed that the LED electronic display boards in front of Nguyen Luong Bang Primary School and Ly Tu Trong Secondary School had their messages altered to display offensive and vulgar content.

According to the police, the individuals who altered the content on the electronic LED boards of the two schools were students from Ly Tu Trong Secondary School and a local resident. These individuals hacked into the electronic system to change the offensive content.

The police are continuing to investigate and clarify the matter.
