GD&TĐ - With only a few weeks left until the 2026 High School Graduation Exam officially takes place, the atmosphere of preparation in Quang Ninh is becoming more urgent than ever.

From classrooms to libraries, from free tutoring sessions to self-managed study groups, both teachers and students are pouring their efforts into this "final push" phase with the determination to achieve the best possible results.

In many high schools in central and mountainous areas, exam preparation is implemented systematically according to different groups of students.

Schools proactively assess students' abilities and categorize them to develop appropriate review plans that both reinforce foundational knowledge and enhance test-taking skills and exam-taking psychology.

At Nguyen Trai High School in Tien Yen commune ( Quang Ninh province), the school has prioritized preparing students for the high school graduation exam since the beginning of the academic year.

The school organizes assessment tests for students to evaluate their academic performance in the subject, which serves as a basis for developing a graduation exam preparation plan.

Ms. Le Thi Anh, Deputy Principal of Nguyen Trai High School, said that they have organized at least 5 mock graduation exams linked to different stages to give students opportunities to practice and to assess their academic abilities.

After each mock exam, the school continues to direct the evaluation of results and adjust the graduation exam plan to suit each group of students, aiming to achieve the set goals.

In addition, the school encourages teachers to apply digital skills and use online learning platforms (OLM) to guide students in reviewing and practicing skills, contributing to improving quality.

Teachers are encouraged to organize free tutoring sessions for students during their free time, such as evenings (for dormitory students), weekends, etc.

The initial phase focuses on consolidating theoretical knowledge, providing learning methods, and developing skills based on specific topics.

In phase 2, teachers focus on organizing practice tests for students based on the structure of the high school graduation exam. Students get to practice, are guided to self-correct their work, learn from their mistakes, and even practice creating and solving exam questions.

Teachers grade, correct, and provide feedback, helping students reinforce any knowledge gaps and improve skills they haven't yet mastered.

During this period, the students are working very hard, showing greater focus and self-discipline in their studies, and setting goals for each day and subject.

Lã Thị Điệp Anh, a student in class 12A at Nguyễn Trãi High School, said she is dedicating all her time to preparing for the graduation exam. She is paying close attention and seriously studying the content that teachers instruct her directly in class and through online platforms.

"Currently, I'm focusing on practicing with sample tests. After completing them, I grade my work using the checklist provided by my teachers, learn from my mistakes, and then compare my results with the teachers' comments and corrections," Diep Anh shared.

According to Diep Anh, Math worries her the most because it's difficult, with a lot of knowledge at the comprehension and application levels. Because she lacks a solid foundation, reviewing and memorizing takes a lot of time, and her ability to solve these questions is still limited.

Our teachers have been very dedicated and attentive, closely monitoring and teaching us from the beginning of the year until now. In addition to regular classes, they also provide free tutoring in the evenings and on weekends such as Saturday and Sunday.
