Conference to review draft Resolution of Provincial People's Council

On the morning of May 28, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to provide social feedback on the draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council deciding on measures to ensure the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level in the province.

Attending the conference were leaders of departments, branches and member organizations of the Front.

At the conference, a representative of the Department of Home Affairs (the agency in charge of drafting the draft) briefly presented the preparation process as well as the content of the draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council deciding on measures to ensure the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level in the province.

Accordingly, the draft Resolution has 5 articles, including: Scope of regulation, subjects; Principles of ensuring and goals of implementing democracy at the grassroots level; Measures to ensure the implementation of grassroots democracy; Funding sources for implementation and Organization of implementation.

Chairman of the Advisory Council for Democracy, Law and Economy of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Y Khut Nie province commented on the draft Resolution.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing, criticizing, giving comments and supplementing some important contents. Specifically, it is necessary to consider and adjust the goals of 5 contents of implementing democracy at the grassroots level appropriately; consider and supplement to increase the level of financial support for implementing democracy at the grassroots level; clarify the responsibilities of the Front in the process of implementing the regulations on democracy at the grassroots level, organizing training, monitoring activities, and disseminating the law; propose to review the words and writing style to ensure the content of the Resolution is concise, easy to understand, easy to implement...

Concluding the conference, the leader of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province highly appreciated the comments and criticisms; assigned the professional department to synthesize and send written comments and criticisms to the drafting agency to absorb, study, edit and complete the draft Resolution before the Provincial People's Council approves it.
