This morning, May 23rd, at the Provincial Youth Activities Center, the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union Council organized the "Team Leader" sports competition for 2024, with the participation of nearly 120 athletes from districts, towns, and cities throughout the province.

The sports festival featured competitions in three disciplines: sack race relay, stick pushing, and tug-of-war, with mixed men-women and men-women categories. The stick pushing competition was divided by weight categories (women's 40-50 kg and 50-60 kg; men's 60-70 kg and over 70 kg). Immediately after the opening ceremony, the sack race relay competitions took place, proving to be exciting, intense, and highly spirited, with enthusiastic support from a large audience of spectators and local residents.

The "Team Leader" sports festival is an opportunity to create strong bonds between teachers and team leaders, enhance cultural and sports exchanges, share learning experiences between different teams, and encourage the nationwide movement to practice physical education and sports following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh.
