Contest "Family meal, warm love"

Towards the 23rd anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day June 28 (2001 - 2024), today June 25, the Culture, Sports and Tourism Center of Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province, in coordination with the District Women's Union, organized the contest "Family meal, warm love" in 2024 with the theme "End violence, foster love".

There are 18 families participating in the contest. The teams prepare a family meal with a portion for 4 people, the ingredients are prepared by the participating families themselves, processed on the spot with a value of no more than 300 thousand VND. In 60 minutes, the teams will cook a family meal, ensuring nutrition and high artistry.

At the end of the contest, the organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 3 consolation prizes to the competing teams.

Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Lan, President of the Women's Union of Trieu Phong district said: "This is an opportunity for families to demonstrate their ingenuity and close connection. Each dish, each meal tray is a unique idea of each competing team, but all aim for the common meaning of building a happy family together.

At the same time, the contest is also an opportunity to promote and raise people's awareness of building a prosperous, equal, progressive, happy family and preventing domestic violence.
