2025 Sports Dance Competition

At the Provincial Gymnasium (Truong Chinh Street, Kon Tum City), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the 2025 Provincial Open Dance, Line Dance, Shuffle Dance, Hiphop, Zumba and Sports Folk Dance Competition.

The competition had the participation of 712 athletes from 25 dance sports delegations inside and outside the province (outside-province units include: Da Nang, Hue, Nghe An, Gia Lai, Lam Dong).

With a variety of competitions, the 2025 Sports Dance Competition brings vibrant and emotional performances. The competitions are divided by age groups, from children to middle-aged people, ensuring diversity and appeal.

In particular, with Dancesport, athletes compete in two main categories: Latin (Chacha, Rumba, Jive, Samba, Paso Doble) and Standard (Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Slow Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz); Movement dance with Latin and Standard dances, suitable for all ages; Shuffle Dance is youthful and vibrant with solo, pair and group competitions for different ages; Hiphop competes with strong, creative dance moves including movement and championship categories; Zumba brings excitement and fun with teams competing in groups, in both movement and championship categories...

The 2025 Sports Dance Competition is not only a useful art playground, but also contributes to the development of the sports movement in the community, creating opportunities for exchange and learning for athletes. This is also one of the practical activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Provincial Liberation Day (March 16, 1975 - March 16, 2025) and respond to the Month of Sports Activities for Everyone and the Olympic Running Day for the Health of All People in the province in 2025.
