Over 200 technology booths at Techfest 2023

On the morning of November 24th, the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Festival (Techfest) and the Ho Chi Minh City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week (Whise) officially opened. The event was organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

At the event, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Hoang Minh (far right) and Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Phan Van Mai (center) visited technology products from domestic businesses and startups.

Speaking at the exhibition, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai highly appreciated the scientific and technological products and services and innovations of the startup projects. The head of the city government shared that Ho Chi Minh City always cares about and supports the development of startups through programs supporting capital, market development, technology, and creating a favorable business environment to help startup projects thrive.

"The policies implementing Resolution 98 on special mechanisms to support and promote the startup ecosystem will help Ho Chi Minh City aim to become the leading innovation and startup center in Southeast Asia and the region," Mr. Mai said.
