Honor recently drew attention in the smartphone industry by mocking Samsung's latest product, the Galaxy S25 Edge.

The Chinese phone manufacturer Honor has just released a promotional video comparing its foldable smartphone, the Magic V3, with Samsung's newly launched Galaxy S25 Edge. In its advertisement, Honor expresses its unimpressed with its competitor's claims of thinness.

The slogan "breaking the limits of thinness" was emphasized during the launch, accompanied by impressive specifications such as a 200 MP camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and a 3,900 mAh battery.

However, Honor presented a different perspective on the design of the Galaxy S25 Edge. In the Magic V3 trailer, the company stated that the device's thickness when unfolded is only 4.35 mm, significantly thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge.

Beyond just numbers, Honor also posed the question: "Why be thin if you have to compromise to achieve it?" Along with that, the slogan " Thin without compromise" appeared alongside it, implying that Samsung may have sacrificed battery capacity or other hardware components to achieve the slim design of the Galaxy S25 Edge. To emphasize this, Honor announced the Magic V3's 5,150 mAh battery, a significant increase from the Galaxy S25 Edge's 3,900 mAh battery.
