Meeting to discuss and provide feedback on several items to be submitted to the Provincial People's Council.

(Baoquangngai.vn) - On the morning of September 28, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Van Minh and Vice Chairmen Tran Hoang Tuan and Tran Phuoc Hien chaired a meeting to review and give opinions on a number of issues within their authority to be submitted to the Provincial People's Council.

The meeting discussed and agreed to submit to the Provincial People's Council the draft Resolution on supplementing the 2023 revenue and expenditure estimates from foreign non-refundable aid funds belonging to the State budget. Specifically, it added an expenditure estimate for the Department of Education and Training to implement a project from foreign non-refundable aid funds belonging to the State budget, with an amount exceeding 1.24 billion VND.

It was unanimously agreed to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and feedback the plan for using the funds obtained from the dissolution of the Provincial Development Investment Fund. This includes over 102 billion VND from the dissolution of the Provincial Development Investment Fund and nearly 42 billion VND from the principal recovered from loans granted by the Provincial Development Investment Fund.

The leaders of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

The meeting also discussed regulations on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Dang Van Minh, requested the Department of Internal Affairs to review the overall regulations of the State sector, as directed by the central government, regarding the number of personnel to be reduced within the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development should proactively coordinate with the Department of Internal Affairs to develop a job position plan to report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision in October 2023. With the agreed-upon contents, the Department of Finance was requested to finalize the submissions and draft resolutions to seek the opinion of the Provincial Party Standing Committee before submitting them to the Provincial People's Council at the upcoming session.
