Promising many surprises

On November 21st, the second phase of the men's national volleyball championship took place in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, attracting the participation of 9 teams: Sanest Khanh Hoa, The Cong, Border Guard, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Ninh Binh, Hanoi , Long An, and Vinh Long. Phase 2 will select the top 4 teams to advance to the semi-finals to compete for the championship, while the bottom 4 teams will compete for 2 relegation spots.

A surprise occurred on the very first day of the second phase when The Cong Club defeated title contender Sanest Khanh Hoa with a score of 3-1 (25/21, 25/23, 22/25, 25/22). Nguyen Van Quoc Duy displayed brilliant form, helping The Cong team play brilliantly. By defeating the defending champions, The Cong Club also rose to the top of the bảng. In the other match, Ha Tinh Club won 3-1 against Da Nang to temporarily move up to 4th place with 2 wins and 4 losses.

Ha Tinh secured an important victory against Da Nang in the second stage of the men's national volleyball championship.

Today, three exciting matches of the second phase of the men's national volleyball championship will take place. At 1:30 PM, Vinh Long Club (1 point, ranked 9th) will clash with Long An Club (5 points, ranked 8th). These two teams are in the relegation battle, so a fierce and uncompromising competition is expected. At 5:00 PM, Border Guard Club (12 points, ranked 3rd) will face Hanoi Club (5 points, ranked 7th). Facing a weaker opponent presents an opportunity for Border Guard to secure all three points and claim the top spot in the standings. At 8:00 PM, the final match of the day will be between Ninh Binh Club (6 points, ranked 6th) and Ha Tinh Club (7 points, ranked 4th). This is considered a closely contested match for a spot in the top four.
