Hue opens free swimming lessons for children.

TPO - Over 200 children in Hue City participated in a training program on drowning prevention skills and free swimming lessons during the summer of 2026. The activity aims to equip children with water safety skills and contribute to reducing drowning accidents.

On June 9th, the Hue City Youth Center, in coordination with the City Youth Union - City Children's Council, the Labor Union, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hue City Police, and other relevant units, organized a free training course on drowning prevention skills and swimming lessons for children in 2026.

The program took place from June 9th to July 12th at the Hue City Youth Swimming Pool (Vy Da Ward, Hue), attracting more than 200 elementary and secondary school students, as well as trainees from talent classes and clubs affiliated with the center.
