Implementing the National Outpatient Emergency Project for the period 2025 - 2030 (chaired by the Ministry of Health , sponsored by Vingroup), on the morning of June 24, a group of lecturers from Ha Tinh General Hospital coordinated with Ha Tinh Provincial Police to organize a training program on "community first aid" for 20 students who are traffic police and fire police.

During the 1-day period, lecturers from the Provincial General Hospital directly instructed the trainees on some basic community first aid skills such as: approaching and initially assessing victims in first aid; cardiopulmonary arrest (CPR); using an automated external defibrillator (AED); first aid for foreign bodies in the airway; how to initially assess trauma, external bleeding, stop bleeding and bandage wounds; fix broken bones, head and neck injuries, and spine injuries; transporting victims in emergency situations and practicing situational drills.

Lectures are mainly practiced on models. In addition to practicing first aid independently, students are also instructed on how to perform and coordinate among members when performing first aid in a group in a community environment.

Equipping the armed forces with first aid knowledge is extremely important in disaster prevention and search and rescue. In particular, it helps provide effective initial support to victims, minimizes human losses, and at the same time, minimizes the time to reach the patient at the scene, increasing the chance of survival for victims.
