The Department of Agriculture and Environment has received nearly 21.4 billion VND from the provincial budget and other sources to purchase nearly 3.8 million forestry seedlings of various types such as black ebony, dipterocarpus, acacia hybrid, etc. In addition, many units and businesses have directly participated in purchasing seedlings to support localities in planting trees and reforestation.
The annual number of saplings allocated to localities is responsible for organizing the planting and care of the trees. The People's Committees of districts and cities are responsible for the implementation, independently reviewing and determining planting locations according to regulations, inspecting, accepting, evaluating, reporting results, and planting and caring for the trees upon receipt.
Thanks to effective mobilization of social resources, the province has successfully implemented the Project to Plant 1 Billion Trees in the period 2021-2025. By the end of 2024, the entire province had planted nearly 20.6 million trees of various types.
