Late in the afternoon of March 14th, while many households were still working in the fields, Mr. Le Van Tuc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Head of Phu Binh Village - patiently waited for the villagers to return so he could personally hand over each voter card.
When handing out the cards, he didn't forget to remind everyone to go to the polling station on the morning of March 15th to participate in the nation's event and exercise their rights and civic duties.
Mr. Tuc shared: “Phu Binh village has nearly 500 households, making it an area with a large number of voters in Ia Le commune. At this time, people are in the middle of tending and harvesting their crops, so they usually don't get home until 5-6 pm. Therefore, we have to wait for them to return before distributing voter cards. Voter cards are very important, so they must be handed directly to adults in the family to be kept safe and ensure everyone votes according to regulations.”

At the Phu Binh village polling station, preparations for election day have been completed. The polling booth is decorated solemnly; banners and slogans are displayed in easily visible locations. Voter cards have also been distributed to each household in the village. According to the plan, at exactly 6:30 AM on March 15th, voters will be present at the polling area to participate in the flag-raising ceremony, and then proceed to cast their votes.
According to information from the Ia Le Commune Election Committee, with a sense of urgency and responsibility, preparations for election day in the commune have been completed according to plan and legal regulations. The entire commune has established 14 polling stations with 192 members in charge of 14 polling areas.
According to statistics, the entire Ia Le commune currently has 15,827 registered voters at polling stations to participate in the election. The commune People's Committee is also coordinating with the commune police to continue reviewing the voter list, especially those working far away or absent for extended periods, to ensure that voter cards are issued in accordance with regulations.
To ensure the election's success, the local authorities placed special emphasis on public awareness campaigns. Information about the election was regularly disseminated through the public address system, the commune's website, and social media platforms such as Zalo and Facebook, making it easy for people to access and follow the information.

Voter Pham Thanh Binh (Luong Ha village) shared: “In the past few days, I and many other villagers have participated in election awareness meetings. I also researched the brief biographies of each candidate to consider when casting my vote on the morning of March 15th. I hope that the representatives trusted by the voters will fulfill their roles and responsibilities well, making positive contributions to the socio -economic development of the country and the locality.”

Over the past period, Ia Le commune has also organized many meetings with voters for candidates to present their action programs. Through these meetings, voters expressed their interest and expectations that the elected representatives will demonstrate responsibility, intelligence, and courage, contributing to the development of their homeland and country, and bringing prosperity to the people.
In particular, on March 14th, the Ia Le Commune Election Committee conducted a trial run of the election process. Members of the polling stations, representatives of local Party and government agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, voter representatives, revolutionary veterans, religious dignitaries, elderly voters, and influential figures among ethnic minorities were all present for the flag-raising ceremony. After the opening speech, the regulations and rules of the polling station were reviewed, and the ballot boxes were inspected, the voters proceeded with the voting process.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Dang Le Minh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee and Vice Chairman of the Election Committee of Ia Le commune, said: By the end of March 14th, all 14 polling stations in the commune had completed their preparations. The lighting and communication systems were fully operational; contingency plans for power outages, security, and fire prevention were all fully prepared.
"The trial run on March 14th helped the polling stations to thoroughly understand the procedures, become proficient in the steps involved, and handle any arising situations effectively. This significantly contributed to ensuring the election was safe, lawful, and successful," Mr. Minh added.
