Laying the foundation for elite education.

Established in 1977, starting with just 3 simple classrooms and a staff of 10 teachers, Gia Rai High School has made remarkable progress, now boasting 40 classrooms, over 1,500 students, and a staff of 73 teachers, notably including 38 former students. This is a testament to the continuity, commitment, and sustainable development of the teaching staff.

In recent years, the school has actively promoted innovation in teaching methods, applying information technology and artificial intelligence. 100% of teachers have received AI training and are proficient in using teaching support software. Simultaneously, academic clubs such as Science & Technology , STEM & AI, along with sports and media clubs, are effectively maintained, creating a diverse learning environment that sparks students' passions and abilities.

The work of identifying and nurturing gifted students has been implemented systematically and continuously. In the past five years alone, the school has won 423 provincial-level awards for gifted students, 9 national-level awards, 42 awards at the traditional April 30th Olympic Games (in just two years of participation), and 6 national science and technology awards. The high school graduation rate has reached 100% for five consecutive years; approximately 85% of students are admitted to university, with many gaining admission to top universities in fields such as computer science, microelectronics, and medicine. A modern and friendly learning environment helps students to be proactive and creative in their approach to knowledge.

This result not only reflects the quality of training but also shows the school's correct development direction in building an environment of "Civilized - Responsible; United - Understanding," aiming towards a "Happy School" with three pillars of "Safety - Love - Respect."

The achievements the school has made in the past are the culmination of the unity, responsibility, and dedication of the entire school staff. We have always recognized that, in order to improve the quality of advanced education, we must first build a positive learning environment, ignite passion, foster self-learning, and inspire a desire for excellence in our students.

Unity creates strength.

In its journey to improve the quality of advanced education, Gia Rai High School has made its mark through the dedication and unity of its teaching staff. From this environment, many outstanding teachers and students have grown, adding to its glorious tradition.

With over 20 years dedicated to teaching, Mr. Toan has repeatedly received the title of excellent teacher at the provincial level, and has been commended by the Ministry of Education and Training and the People's Committee of Ca Mau province. Mr. Toan shared: "What I cherish most is not just the achievements, but the positive transformation of the students throughout their studies, from passive learning to critical thinking , learning to view history from multiple perspectives and drawing lessons for the present."

Dozens, even hundreds, of provincial and national-level awards for outstanding students, or medals at the April 30th Olympic Games, are testament to the perseverance and dedication of the entire team, including the silent contributions of the teachers.

More importantly, it's the close support of our teachers and a highly motivating learning environment. The synergy between personal effort and the guidance of our teachers has helped me and my classmates not only achieve high results but also mature in our thinking and character.”
