Ms. Park holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Bristol (UK) and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Sungkyunkwan University (South Korea).
Prior to joining the ILO, from 2011, she worked at the Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor, where she oversaw key initiatives such as public employment services for vulnerable workers, developing employment insurance systems, improving vocational training programs, and strengthening corporate responsibility for compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.

Ms. Park has extensive experience in labor policy and social security, along with a strong commitment to promoting the ILO's Decent Work Agenda.
“Taking on this position is a great honor for me, especially at a time when Vietnam is entering a new phase of development with many socio -economic aspirations. I look forward to working closely with the Government, workers' and employers' organizations to further strengthen cooperation and support Vietnam’s ongoing efforts to promote decent work for all,” she shared.
As the United Nations' specialized agency on labor, the ILO Office in Vietnam continues to work alongside Vietnam in promoting workplace rights, creating decent work opportunities, enhancing social security, and fostering dialogue on labor and employment issues.
