Ms. Park holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Bristol (UK) and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Sungkyunkwan University (South Korea).
Prior to joining the ILO, she worked at the Ministry of Employment and Labor of Korea from 2011, where she was in charge of key initiatives such as public employment services for vulnerable workers, development of employment insurance systems, enhancement of vocational training programs, and strengthening corporate responsibility in compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.

Ms. Park has extensive experience in the field of labor policy and social security, and a strong commitment to promoting the ILO Decent Work Agenda.
“It is a great honor for me to take on this role, especially at a time when Vietnam is entering a new phase of development with many socio -economic aspirations. I look forward to working closely with the Government, workers’ and employers’ organizations to continue to strengthen cooperation and support Vietnam’s ongoing efforts to promote decent work for all,” she said.
As the United Nations specialized agency in the field of labor, the ILO Office in Vietnam continues to accompany Vietnam in promoting rights at work, creating decent work opportunities, enhancing social security, and promoting dialogue on labor and employment issues.
