Many iPhone 15 Pro Max owners are experiencing burn-in issues and are sharing their experiences on Reddit. In one case, a screenshot showed that the iPhone 15 Pro Max still had the image of the keyboard saved and each character was clearly visible.
Burn-in is a condition where a screen leaves a faint shadow when displaying a static image continuously for a long time. The pixels in that area light up continuously, degrading compared to other pixels. On Apple phones, the problem first appeared with the iPhone X, the first model with an OLED screen. Last year, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max also suffered from this phenomenon.
According to PhoneArena, the burn-in phenomenon on iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro. Normally, this error only appears if static content is displayed for a few hours, but on the new iPhone, this phenomenon occurs in a shorter time.
Experts say the burn-in error is hardware-related, so going to the Apple Store to exchange for a new device is the only way to fix the problem.
