"The relatively high price of the iPhone 16e compared to previous iPhone SE devices has limited sales of this product line in the European market.
In addition, some dealers are offering the iPhone 15 at the same price as the iPhone 16e. Therefore, users tend to choose to buy the iPhone 15 even though the device is more than 2 years old," Jan Stryjak, an analyst at Counterpoint Research , shared.
The iPhone 16e is currently considered Apple's cheapest iPhone model. This product line was developed by the company to replace the previous iPhone SE.
The success of the iPhone 16e product line also contributed significantly to helping Apple become the leading smartphone manufacturer in the global mobile market in the first quarter of this year.
