Contrary to previous reports, the iPhone SE 4 project is being reconsidered, as Apple seeks to reuse the iPhone 14 design for the next iPhone SE model.

Accordingly, besides removing Touch ID, the iPhone SE 4 will offer a series of upgrades compared to its predecessor. New features include Face ID, a full-screen design similar to the iPhone 14, a 48MP camera, an Action button, and USB-C connectivity. Especially when combined with a powerful processor that is equal to or even surpasses the iPhone 14 Pro, the iPhone SE 4 will be a highly anticipated product.

That's also when the iPhone 16 series, using Apple's A18 and A18 Pro chips, will be available in stores. Therefore, it wouldn't be surprising to see the iPhone SE 4 also potentially feature the A18 chip, primarily due to the introduction of Apple's GPT AI assistant, which is also expected to be included in iOS 18.

According to a MacRumors report, the iPhone SE 4 will have a design similar to the iPhone 14, with an aluminum frame, glass back, and flat edges. However, the device will only have a single rear camera, instead of the dual-camera system of the iPhone 14. This camera will have a 48 MP resolution, significantly higher than the 12 MP of the iPhone SE 3. In addition, other specifications remain fairly consistent with previous leaks, including the Action button, USB-C port, and a black color option.
