According to Al Jazeera, on September 9, Israel launched an airstrike on a building in Doha, Qatar, where Hamas leaders were meeting to discuss a US-proposed ceasefire over Gaza.
The attack killed six people, including the son of senior Hamas commander Khalil al-Hayya, three bodyguards, and one Qatari security officer. Senior Hamas leaders are believed to have survived the attack.
Qatar became the sixth country to be attacked by Israel in just 72 hours and the seventh since the beginning of this year.

The following day, September 10th, Israel continued its airstrikes targeting Yemen's capital, Sanaa, and the al-Jawf province. The Yemeni Ministry of Health reported that at least 35 people were killed and 131 others injured in the attack. The death toll could rise as rescue teams continue searching for victims.
According to Al Masirah television, run by the Houthi forces, the airstrikes targeted a medical facility southwest of Sanaa and a local government complex in al-Hazm.
Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree said the group used surface-to-air missiles in retaliation against Israel.
"Our air defense system launched several surface-to-air missiles in response to Israel's actions. Several Israeli aircraft were forced to leave, and the majority of the attack was thwarted," the Houthi forces stated.
