Striker Harry Kane is likely to join Bayern Munich if he leaves Tottenham this summer.
Kane has identified Bayern as his preferred destination. According to The Sun , a move to Germany would help Kane avoid joining other English clubs. The 29-year-old striker does not want to hurt Tottenham, the club he has been with since his youth.
In England, Manchester United is the most likely destination for Kane. The Red Devils' manager, Erik Ten Hag, wants to buy a top-class striker. He also prefers players already familiar with English football over foreign players. Meanwhile, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool have all already signed strikers they want.

Real Madrid also wanted to buy Kane. However, after news broke that Kylian Mbappe would not renew his contract with PSG, the Spanish club reduced their interest in the English striker.
As a result, Bayern have become the leading contenders for Kane. The Bundesliga champions' coach, Thomas Tuchel, had his eye on Kane since his time managing Chelsea. Bayern also need a top-class striker after losing Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona last summer. The lack of a world-class goalscorer nearly cost Bayern the 2022-2023 Bundesliga title; they only won it thanks to Dortmund's slip-up in the final round.
On June 27th, Bayern submitted an offer of $77 million plus add-ons, but Tottenham rejected it. Despite Kane having only one year left on his contract, according to The Sun , Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is still valuing him at $130 million. However, the German club may negotiate the price down to between $100 and $110 million. They could also include Sadio Mane, the former Liverpool striker, as part of the deal.
Kane holds the record for most goals scored for Tottenham with 280. He is 12 goals ahead of the second-placed player, legend Jimmy Greaves. The closest active player to Kane, Son Heung-min, is in sixth place with 145 goals.
Kane also holds the record for scoring 58 goals for England. The 29-year-old striker is five goals ahead of former legend Wayne Rooney. However, Kane has yet to win a team title. He has lost two League Cup finals, the 2019 Champions League final, and Euro 2021. Individually, Kane's biggest achievement is being the Golden Boot at the 2018 World Cup. Kane has also won the Premier League Golden Boot three times.
