To stimulate demand and prepare for the peak summer tourist season, tourism service businesses have proactively developed programs to survey destinations and offer new experiential services since the beginning of the year. This also provides an opportunity for businesses to connect, and based on these surveys, new all-inclusive tour packages, including transportation, accommodation, cruises, and entertainment, are formed and introduced to tourists, facilitating their summer travel planning.
Recently, over 200 tourism service providers from Northern and Central Vietnam participated in a survey program on cruise services, accommodation, and entertainment complexes in Quang Ninh . With the theme "Voyage Culture, Heritage & Renew," the businesses aimed to develop and innovate products linked to local heritage and culture to introduce to tourists. Thanks to their participation in this product chain, many businesses have significantly increased their customer base, while also enhancing their brand recognition and expanding their market to include several international tourist segments. Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, General Director of Vitamin Tours & Event, stated: "Both domestic and international tourists need comprehensive services. We select reputable service providers such as 5-star hotels, restaurants, and high-quality cruises to create diverse tours offering experiences from onshore to offshore bays for tourists to choose from."
In addition to connecting with businesses from other regions and provinces, tourism and service businesses within the province are also proactively seeking solutions for business connections and cooperation to attract tourists. This helps to strengthen the links in the service supply chain, creating high-quality packages at attractive prices.
Even before the summer season, member branches of the Quang Ninh Tourism Association continuously organized seminars and meetings to agree on building quality culinary service packages at reasonable prices. At the same time, all parties committed to investing in upgrading tourism infrastructure, improving service quality, developing joint tourism products, and prioritizing each other's services and supporting each other in tourism promotion and marketing activities. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Head of Business Department at Vietravel Quang Ninh branch, shared: Participating in tourism linkages will optimize the advantages of service provision by participating units in the spirit of mutual innovation, improving quality, and increasing the competitiveness of Quang Ninh tourism. For example, Vietravel has collaborated with several service providers to organize programs for large groups of tourists with more novel experiences, not only gala dinners in halls but also in different spaces such as beaches or private areas...
Along with proactively connecting service chains to stimulate tourism demand, Quang Ninh province is actively innovating experiences such as launching tourist itineraries on Bai Tu Long Bay, connecting the heritage chain of Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu… At the same time, it is strengthening promotion and advertising of destinations through films, cultural, sports, and music events… All of this aims to realize the goal of welcoming 20 million tourists by 2025, while creating a link for sustainable tourism development in the future.
Mr. Nguyen The Hue, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Tourism Association, said: When participating in supply chains, one of the important factors is that the tourism service business community must commit to a common goal of promoting Quang Ninh's products and developing sustainable tourism not only during the peak summer tourist season but also throughout the year.
