Connecting Vietnamese people around the world with international friends

The Global Vietnamese Ancestor Day - The Global Hung King's Death Anniversary and Honoring Descendants 2023 will take place live in Germany (the European key host country, on April 23) and Laos (the Asian key host country, on the main day of the ceremony, April 29) with the participation of delegates and overseas Vietnamese from nearly 20 countries and territories.

The program is organized by the Global Vietnam National Day Project Board and has been maintained annually (from 2015 to present). The project was born with the mission: Connecting overseas Vietnamese and international friends to participate in preserving the representative intangible cultural values ​​of humanity and the Hung King Worship Heritage abroad, in order to unite the strength of national unity; Intercultural dialogue between Vietnam and cultures around the world ; Spreading and positioning the cultural values ​​and virtues of the Vietnamese people in the respect and honor of the virtues of other peoples/nations around the world, in the real environment and the inter-global media environment.

Accordingly, the Global Vietnamese National Ancestor Day Program - Ancestor Commemoration Ceremony and Honoring the Descendants of the Hung Kings Worldwide 2023 consists of 3 parts. The ceremony part - "Grateful to Ancestors"; showing the sacred Ancestor Commemoration Ceremony from the origin of Hung Temple, Phu Tho (Vietnam) and Ancestor Commemoration Ceremony in other countries.

The festival with the theme "Returning to Vietnam" introduces special performances of overseas Vietnamese. The Organizing Committee and the Honoring Council will conduct "Honoring the descendants of King Hung globally 2023" for individuals and groups who are Vietnamese, international friends from 15 countries and territories who have contributed to the social community, the Project Board, connecting friendship between Vietnam and international friends.

The next part, the International Conference - Honoring national values ​​- national virtues includes 3 contents: "Vietnam - Position and Potential"; "Overseas Vietnamese turn to the homeland Vietnam" and "The role of Vietnam in the international arena", with the participation of speakers who are intellectuals, scientists , leaders, international students, overseas Vietnamese and international experts...
