This year's Youth and Children's Innovation Contest received 92 registration solutions in 5 areas, an increase of 20 solutions compared to 2022. The field of technical solutions to respond to climate change, environmental protection and economic development had the most solutions, with 36 solutions. The remaining areas, such as: household appliances and children's toys have 20 solutions; environmentally friendly products have 15 solutions; informatics software has 11 solutions; school supplies have 10 solutions.

The contest is open to all youth and children in the province from 6 to 18 years old, encouraging young children, children in mountainous areas, border areas, islands and ethnic minorities to participate.
The prize structure includes: 1 special prize (12 million VND); 5 first prizes (9 million VND/prize); 10 second prizes (6 million VND/prize); 15 third prizes (5 million VND/prize); 25 consolation prizes (3 million VND/prize). Winning products will be given certificates, contest logos and certificates of merit. Accordingly, the special prize, the first prize received the certificate of merit from the Provincial People's Committee; second prize received certificate of merit from the Provincial Youth Union; third prize received certificate of merit from the Department of Education and Training; consolation prize received certificate of merit from the Union of Science and Technology Associations of the province.
