Opening of the book fair 'Books - Door to knowledge'

The book fair took place from April 17 to 20 with the participation of 5 local and central publishing and distribution units with branches and representative offices in Da Nang. This year's book fair has 20 booths introducing many new books, newly released books and a variety of teaching equipment and stationery.

In addition to buying and selling books, readers also participate in many useful activities and enjoy special art performances such as: Book and stationery exhibition and trading activities; serving multimedia mobile library vehicles and experiencing skill training games; displaying and exhibiting beautiful paintings and photos of Son Tra district and GreenViet Center; book presentation contest for middle school students; story telling contest based on books for primary school students; dance group festival; art performance program of preschool students; music exchange between bands and visitors...

“With the theme “Books – The Door to Knowledge”, the book fair sends a strong message about the role of books in spiritual life, education and sustainable development of society. Each book is a friend, a teacher and most importantly, a door opening up an endless world of knowledge for each of us, especially the young generation. Son Tra District always aims to build a learning society, encouraging reading in schools, in families and in the community. The Book Fair is a bright spot in that journey”, Vice Chairman of Son Tra District People’s Committee Huynh Van Hung emphasized.

Within the framework of the Son Tra Book Festival 2025, readers can also contribute to sharing knowledge through donating, contributing, and supporting books and cultural products with the "Community Bookshelf" model launched by the Organizing Committee.

Donated and supported books will be transferred by the organizers to school library systems, ward reading rooms, community bookcases, etc. to contribute to sharing and spreading knowledge to the community and book lovers.
