Opening of the Mega Livestream OCOP Fair in Son La

On June 14th, in Phieng Khoai commune, Yen Chau district, the Department of Industry and Trade of Son La province, in coordination with the Business Management Board of the Agricultural Products and E-commerce Platform, Vietnam Post Corporation (VNPost), organized the opening of the Mega Livestream Son La OCOP Market Fair featuring plums, mangoes, and other local agricultural products.

Mega Livestream of the Son La OCOP Market Fair opens in Phieng Khoai commune.

Participants included representatives from the Department of Industry and Trade, the Agricultural Products and E-commerce Platform, Vietnam Post Corporation, the People's Committee of Yen Chau district, Phieng Khoai commune, representatives of cooperatives whose products were showcased at the livestream, and digital content creators.

VNPost, in collaboration with digital content creators, livestreamed the Son La OCOP Market Fair at the Phieng Khoai commune cultural center in Yen Chau district.

The Son La OCOP Market starts at 9:40 AM and is livestreamed on e-commerce platforms: TikTok shop, Vietnam Post (Vnpost.vn), Vietnam Post Agricultural Products Market (nongsan.buudien.vn), and the personal channels of content creators: Luong Van Tuan ongbocute, Long bo tuoi, Solai, and Ngoc Toc Review.

The Mega Livestream showcased typical local agricultural products, such as: Phieng Khoai plums, Chieng Hac green-skinned mangoes, dried plum products, ginger-dried plums, dried strawberries, Yen Chau black garlic… all produced and processed in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards, and certified as produced according to VietGAP standards.

Members of the Chiềng Hặc Safe Agricultural Cooperative introduce the cooperative's safe, green-skinned mangoes to a digital content creator.

In nearly 3 hours, thanks to the seamless collaboration between content creators and local vendors, the livestream on digital platforms reached nearly 4 million people and generated over 3,000 orders.

The Mega Livestream session will also feature digital content creators Solai and Ngoc Toc Review livestreaming directly from the plum orchard at Toan Phat Agricultural Cooperative. Viewers will have the opportunity to learn more about the production and harvesting process of plums, explore other characteristic agricultural products, and interact directly with farmers and cooperatives producing safe agricultural products in the province.
