Opening Ceremony of Ho Chi Minh City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week 2023

Taking place from November 23-25, the exhibition features nearly 200 booths showcasing products and services from startups and entrepreneurial projects. The exhibition introduces scientific and technological products, facilitates business networking, and connects investors to expand cooperation opportunities with nearly 200 innovative projects and businesses participating in the exhibition, contributing to the Vietnamese and regional startup ecosystem.

Delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open Techfest - White 2023 week.

The exhibition showcases startup stories, methods for building and developing an innovative startup ecosystem, and collaborative development within the startup community.

Alongside the exhibition, there will be panel discussions and workshops with experts, businesses, entrepreneurs, and local leaders to discuss the development strategy of the Vietnamese economy through the development strategies of businesses and innovative startups.

According to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Phan Van Mai, the city always pays attention to, supports, and creates favorable conditions for businesses and startups to develop. The city supports access to capital, markets, technology, high-quality human resources, and creates a favorable, transparent, and healthy competitive business environment.

The event also showcased solutions for global food security, logistics platforms to support and ensure supply chains in situations of natural disasters and epidemics, and new energy technologies to ensure sustainable development.

Ho Chi Minh City is currently the largest economic, cultural, and science and technology center in Vietnam, ranked 114th out of 1,000 cities with dynamic ecosystems globally, and third in the ASEAN region in terms of ecosystem value, with an economic impact of up to US$5.22 billion, only after Singapore and Jakarta (Indonesia).

Techfest - Whise 2023 is also known to take place throughout October and November with more than 40 events in Ho Chi Minh City. With the theme "Leveraging National Resources - Elevating Vietnam's Innovation and Startup Ecosystem for International Integration," this event provides opportunities to connect with financial resources, partners, develop domestic and international markets, and share knowledge for founders, helping businesses effectively utilize resources and boost the economy.
