Tuyen Quang has 3 award-winning topics at the National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition 2025

On the afternoon of November 15, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations coordinated with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ministry of Science and Technology to organize the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the 21st National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition in 2025.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Pham Tat Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Dr. Phan Xuan Dung, Chairman of the Central Council of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), Chairman of the VIFOTEC Fund, Head of the Competition Steering Committee; Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers; Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Can Tho City; along with experts, scientists, representatives of central ministries, branches and delegates of provinces and cities across the country.

The National Youth and Children's Creativity Contest is held for youth and children from 6 to 18 years old, with products in 5 fields: School supplies; computer software; environmentally friendly products; household appliances and children's toys; technical solutions to respond to climate change, environmental protection and economic development.

In 2025, the contest attracted 847 topics from provinces and cities. The Organizing Committee selected 105 excellent topics to award prizes, including: 5 First prizes, 10 Second prizes, 30 Third prizes and 60 Encouragement prizes. Tuyen Quang province had 3 winning topics, including 1 Second prize and 2 Encouragement prizes. The Second prize belonged to the model "Hanging lake garbage cleaning machine arm" of a group of students from Ta Lung Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary and Secondary School, Dong Van commune. 2 Encouragement prizes included the model "8 in 1 experiment set using solar energy for teaching Natural Science" of Lang Can Secondary School, Lam Binh commune and the model "Environmental garbage sweeper" of Song Lo High School, Binh Thuan ward.

At the ceremony, the collective and 1 individual of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Tuyen Quang province were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Organizing Committee for their outstanding achievements in propaganda and dissemination of the 2025 Youth and Children's Creativity Contest.

Also at the program, comrade Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers launched the 22nd National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition in 2026, continuing to encourage the young generation to foster the spirit of scientific research and creativity for the community.
