Launching the Jakarta – Da Nang flight route.

According to the Department of Tourism , at 1:30 AM on December 19th, flight QG870 from Jakarta International Airport (Indonesia) brought 170 tourists to Da Nang city.

Upon arriving in Da Nang, tourists were welcomed by representatives from the Department of Tourism, Da Nang International Airport, Da Nang International Terminal Operations Joint Stock Company, and representatives from the alliance of Indonesian and Da Nang travel companies, who presented them with local specialties and publications introducing the destination.

Indonesian tourists on this flight will have 4 days to visit famous destinations in the city such as Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area, Marble Mountains scenic area, APEC Park... as well as experience local cuisine and entertainment activities.

The Jakarta (Indonesia) - Da Nang route, operating as a charter flight, is being tested by a consortium of Indonesian and Da Nang travel companies using A320 aircraft from Citilink Indonesia. The trial will run from December 2024 to January 2025 with 7 flights. It is expected that these flights will bring over 1,200 Indonesian tourists to experience Da Nang. If successful, the route will be upgraded to a regular flight in 2025.
