Exploiting Jakarta – Da Nang flight route

The Department of Tourism said that at 1:30 a.m. on December 19, flight number QG870 from Jakarta International Airport (Indonesia) brought 170 tourists to Da Nang city.

Immediately after arriving in Da Nang, visitors were welcomed by representatives of the Department of Tourism, Da Nang International Airport, Da Nang International Terminal Operation Joint Stock Company, representatives of the alliance of Indonesian and Da Nang travel companies, and given special gifts and publications introducing the destination.

Indonesian tourists on the flight will have 4 days to visit famous destinations in the city such as: Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area, Ngu Hanh Son Scenic Area, APEC Park... as well as experience local cuisine and entertainment activities.

The Jakarta (Indonesia) - Da Nang charter flight route is operated by an alliance of Indonesian and Da Nang travel companies, chartering an A320 aircraft from Citilink Indonesia Airlines for a trial operation from December 2024 to January 2025 with 7 flights. It is expected that these flights will bring more than 1,200 Indonesian visitors to experience Da Nang. If positive results are achieved, the flight route will be upgraded to a regular flight in 2025.
