The watch strap is made of soft silicone material, providing a comfortable feeling when wearing, avoiding cases of dirt or peeling like wearing a leather strap during exercise.

Users can use the microphone and speaker when they need to make calls via Huawei Watch 4. The digital knob and side buttons allow convenient control of operations as well as quick access to favorite functions, and users can customize these operations. The watch also integrates an eSIM to receive calls or messages on the watch even when there is no phone nearby.

Like many other members of Huawei's smartwatch family, Watch 4 offers more than 100 different exercises, including 19 professional exercises to help users exercise and provide more detailed indicators of their activities. With the ability to automatically recognize exercises, Watch 4 can recognize the exercises that users are doing and record relevant information.

In addition, the Watch 4 also offers 5ATM swimming water resistance, IPX8 water resistance and IP6X dust resistance. Users can also schedule workouts and detailed plans for different training sessions.

The most notable highlight on the Watch 4 is the Huawei Trueseen 5.0 sensor system to monitor blood sugar levels non-invasively, thereby warning users as well as raising awareness of the risk of potential hyperglycemia.
