Explore Khe Song - Silver Waterfall

Located at the foot of Yen Tu mountain area, Khe Song-Thac Bac appears like a soft silk strip winding around the mountainside, amidst the vast and cool green mountains and forests. According to local people, the reason for this name is because, at the source of this area, there is a large waterfall that divides into two branches flowing parallel to each other downstream, so people call this area Khe Song. And Thac Bac is the name of the most beautiful waterfall here. At the top of the waterfall, during the rainy season there is an abundant source of water, the waterfall flows strongly and pours down, the light reflects on the water and sparkles beautifully. That is where the name Silver Waterfall comes from.

The journey to explore Khe Song - Thac Bac is not too difficult. The waterfall is gentle, not too high, and has steps built for visitors to walk conveniently. Visitors will wade through the stream and explore each waterfall level . From the top of the mountain up to a hundred meters high, down to the foot, there are up to 10 waterfall levels for visitors to visit and explore. Khe Song - Thac Bac is only 100km from Hanoi, about 40km from the center of Ha Long City. From National Highway 18, you turn to Khe Su 2 village, Thuong Yen Cong commune. The convenient traffic route allows visitors to travel by motorbike or car easily.
