Discover the theater shaped like a basket in Nha Trang.

With its unique and beautiful design, the theater, modeled after a traditional Vietnamese fishing basket in Nha Trang ( Khanh Hoa province ), attracts many tourists who come to visit and take photos for social media.

That theater was built in Bai Tien, Vinh Hoa ward (Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province), about 8km north of Nha Trang city center.

The design of the building was inspired by a traditional Vietnamese fishing basket. The theater was inaugurated last April.

The theater is approximately 20 meters high and has a total area of ​​2,500 square meters. The model is made of a steel frame and painted in a metallic gold color.

The decorative motifs on the exterior of the theater are branches of coral intertwined with pearls.

With its unique and beautiful design, the Theatre has recently attracted a lot of attention from tourists visiting Nha Trang. Currently, there is no ticket sales or fees charged to visitors who come to tour and take photos outside the theatre.

Tourists visit and check in at the That Theater. Ms. Le Van Lan (a tourist from Bac Ninh ) shared: "The That Theater has a design that is both familiar and unique. I really enjoyed coming to Nha Trang to enjoy the fresh air, the sea breeze, and to check in at this place."

The theater has over 500 seats inside. According to a representative of the theater's management, the entire mechanical system, stage technology, sound, and lighting inside the theater were imported.

A pool of water is positioned in the center of the stage for the puppeteers to perform. Each performance reportedly features various puppet forms such as water puppetry, string puppetry, shadow puppetry, and animated puppetry, combined with contemporary dance and accompanied by music .

There are 12 bicycles, 6 on each side of the stage, for the artists to use in their string puppet performances.
