Expedite construction of the Huu Nghi-Chi Lang expressway and the Dong Dang-Tra Linh expressway.

Joining the inspection team from Lang Son province were Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders from relevant departments and agencies.

During the program, the working group inspected the construction site of the Huu Nghi-Chi Lang border gate expressway project at the following points: from Km42+000 along the route to Km31+900 (EC03 package), in Chi Lang district; and the bridge at Km18+300, intersecting National Highway 4B (EC02 package), in Lang Son city and Cao Loc district.

Currently, the entire project has 78 construction teams (including road embankment excavation, bridge construction, and drainage culvert construction); the construction output has reached 975/6,580 billion VND (equivalent to 15%); the target output for 2025 is 5,062 billion VND.

Contractors are currently focusing on mobilizing all available manpower and equipment, adhering to the principle of "construction commences as soon as the site is handed over."

To date, the project has disbursed 516 billion VND from the state budget and BOT funds. This year, the project aims to complete the road with an asphalt concrete surface. Regarding land clearance, Lang Son province has so far handed over 55 out of 59.8 km (equivalent to 93%) of the total length of the route.

Speaking at the site, Minister Tran Hong Minh requested the project investor to continue actively coordinating with local authorities to resolve difficulties regarding land acquisition and the relocation of all technical infrastructure, promptly handing it over to the contractor for construction; urging contractors to mobilize manpower, machinery, and equipment to organize construction in 3 shifts and 4 teams to accelerate progress, ensure project quality and labor safety, and focus all resources to achieve the goal of opening the route in 2025.
