The sports complex was built with modern facilities through the coordinated efforts of officials and Party members in Zone 4, Tra An, through social mobilization.
To welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party, the People's Mobilization Team of Area 4, Tra An, mobilized 37.5 million VND through social contributions to install streetlights and hang national flags in Alley 3. Ms. Nguyen Thi Le, a resident of Area 4, Tra An, said: “The local officials mobilized the community, and residents agreed to contribute to installing streetlights so the alley is brighter at night. Hanging national flags uniformly along both sides of the alley creates a civilized residential area.”
From 2024 to the present, the local community mobilization team has coordinated the social mobilization of approximately 500 million VND to upgrade alleyways, repair roads, install streetlights, flagpoles, etc. Ms. Huynh Thi Trang, a resident living in branch 2 of alley 3, shared: “Previously, some parts of the alley surface were degraded, and heavy rain caused water to accumulate. The local officials mobilized the community, and residents unanimously contributed to upgrading the alley to make it dry, clean, and beautiful.”
In addition, local officials mobilized 23 million VND through social contributions to upgrade the courtyard, repaint the community cultural center and sports area. In 2025, local officials will continue to mobilize over 10 million VND through social contributions to install lighting, equip additional sports equipment, and provide stone benches for the recreational activities of the people. In total, the project to transform the abandoned land into a sports area has a total value of 175 million VND. The community cultural center has been upgraded several times with complete facilities, new tables and chairs, and air conditioning; the spacious courtyard has been paved with tiles, totaling over 250 million VND from contributions by local officials, Party members, and residents. The local officials have publicly and transparently disclosed all income and expenditures related to the mobilization of public contributions for the construction and upgrading of these projects, resulting in strong public support.
Cadres and Party members in Area 4 of Tra An also coordinated and mobilized resources to support people in improving their lives and achieving stability. For example, in 2025, cadres and Party members in the area mobilized donations of gifts to disadvantaged households totaling over 60 million VND; simultaneously, they facilitated and supported union members, association members, and residents in borrowing capital from the Social Policy Bank to develop family businesses and pursue education; maintained capital pooling groups and savings groups of local organizations to help people access capital for production and business; and mobilized donations of scholarships for students admitted to university and gifts for students in difficult circumstances…
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, Secretary of the Party Branch and Head of Area 4, Tra An, during the process of mobilizing people to contribute to the implementation of projects and tasks, cadres and Party members in the area always practiced democracy and paid attention to resolving the legitimate needs of the people. In the coming time, cadres and Party members in the area will continue to promote democracy, mobilize resources to beautify the urban area, maintain environmental hygiene and security in the residential area; pay attention to supporting those in difficult circumstances, contributing to building a civilized residential area and improving the lives of the people.
