In May 2026 alone, ABIC settled 6,957 claims, totaling VND 73.011 billion in payouts. On average, the company processed nearly 200 claims per day, delivering over VND 2 billion to customers. These figures not only reflect strong financial capacity but also demonstrate the responsibility of an insurance company in ensuring customer rights – especially when they need support the most.

Notably, compared to the same period last year, the number of settled claims increased by 6,061, and the total amount paid out increased by VND 12.326 billion. This means that more and more customers have been able to access and benefit from the protective value of insurance in a tangible way.
Credit security - a product with outstanding humanitarian value.
Analysis of the compensation structure shows that Credit Security Insurance continues to be the largest product line, accounting for 50.2% of the total compensation in the first five months of the year. Implemented through Agribank's nationwide network, the Credit Security Insurance product carries profound humanitarian significance by supporting borrowers against unexpected health and life risks.
In reality, when borrowers unfortunately encounter unforeseen circumstances, insurance benefits not only help settle remaining financial obligations but also contribute to reducing pressure on families, creating conditions for loved ones to stabilize their lives. Therefore, for many years, Credit Security Insurance has always been considered one of the products that clearly demonstrates the community values that ABIC pursues.
Second in the claims structure is motor vehicle insurance with a share of 26.3%; followed by other personal insurance (13.7%), marine insurance (6.5%), technical property insurance (2.0%), and other insurance lines (1.2%). The diverse range of claims shows that ABIC is increasingly comprehensively meeting the protection needs of its customers - from people, vehicles, assets to production and business operations.
Not only do they pay on time, but they also pay quickly.
Besides its financial capacity, the quality of compensation settlement continues to be a standout feature of ABIC. According to statistics, the average time to process compensation claims from January 1, 2026 to May 31, 2026 was only 2.8 days; and over the past 12 months, it reached 2.9 days.
This result stems from the improvement of business processes, the increased application of technology, and the enhancement of service quality throughout the system. For customers, receiving insurance benefits promptly is not simply a service aspect; it's also a timely source of financial resources to overcome the difficult period after a risk occurs.

Sharing his thoughts on claims processing, Mr. Vu Hong Son, Director of the Claims Assessment Department of Agribank Insurance, said: “Each claims settlement is not only about fulfilling commitments under the insurance contract but also about accompanying and sharing with customers during their most difficult times. We always consider claims processing as an important measure reflecting the quality of service and reputation of the insurance company.”
According to Mr. Vu Hong Son, in the coming period, ABIC will continue to invest in digital transformation, improve claims management processes, and enhance customer experience to ensure that all insurance benefits are settled quickly, transparently, and conveniently.

Regionally, many member units recorded large compensation payouts in the first five months of the year. Leading the way was ABIC Hanoi with VND 36.938 billion, followed by ABIC Thanh Hoa (VND 28.508 billion), ABIC Ho Chi Minh City (VND 27.744 billion), and ABIC Can Tho (VND 24.157 billion).
