When slices of life enter the picture

Many unique works of art deeply reflecting the breath of life, urban coastal culture, Quang people and contemporary issues are being displayed at the Da Nang Fine Arts Exhibition 2025.

On the occasion of the 74th Anniversary of Vietnam Fine Arts Tradition Day and the 68th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, the Da Nang Fine Arts Association organizes an annual Fine Arts Exhibition with the theme "Da Nang Fine Arts 2025".

The event aims to preserve and spread the creative spirit of Da Nang's fine arts community, honor the achievements of artistic labor, and at the same time bring the public a comprehensive view of new discoveries in the works of painters and sculptors in the city.

The exhibition introduces 55 works by 52 authors, including painters, sculptors and collaborators of the Da Nang Fine Arts Association to the public.

The works are rich in subject matter, reflecting the emotions, thoughts and individual perspectives of each artist on contemporary life.

Many paintings with themes of fishing villages, market scenes, livelihood, trade, people, nature, etc. are uniquely depicted by the authors, creating a new feeling for the viewers. Each painting seems to contain the emotions and inner world of the author, making visitors more immersed in each stroke.

At the exhibition, viewers can catch the breath of life through the paintings "Making a living", "Memories"... or cultural and historical symbols appearing through "Cham Architecture", "Tuong Masks"... and the rhythm of urban life through "Han River Diary", "Hoi An" with images of a land that is both ancient and youthful but also very profound.

The works are created from a variety of materials. The exhibition not only includes paintings using materials such as acrylic, oil, lacquer, etc. but also sculptures, graphics, printing and engraving techniques; mixed art works...

The exhibition is on display at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum from now until January 5, 2026.
