Sometimes they buy medicine based on whispered "family secrets" or "secret telepathic communication" like in the movies, only to lose money and suffer further harm, yet they still... readily believe it.

Thinking about it, what Aunt Tam said makes sense. So, according to her, what should we do?

- In my opinion, we should all be more cautious, less gullible, and become a bit more "demanding." Whatever we believe must have a scientific basis; if we hear an advertisement that sounds good, we should ask for clarification and verify its source.

- Yeah! On the one hand, authorities are stepping up strict enforcement, and on the other hand, people are protecting themselves by trusting less self-proclaimed "doctors" online. If we use medicines from reputable sources and according to prescriptions, then these fraudulent businesses will have no place to thrive!
