| Chiêm Hóa commune inaugurated a street lighting project in Na Bo village, in celebration of the 11th National Emulation Congress. |
In Sa Phin commune, the Fatherland Front Committee actively mobilized officials and people to contribute to the concrete paving of a key road in Then Van village. The project has a total length of over 800 meters and a width of 1.5 meters. The total construction cost was 150 million VND, raised through social contributions and hundreds of days of voluntary labor from local residents. To date, the road has been completed ahead of schedule and officially put into use, bringing great joy to the people. The project demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the Party Committee, the Fatherland Front, and other organizations in Sa Phin commune, a vivid testament to the effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements spreading widely throughout the area.
In Son Duong commune, the workload has increased significantly following the administrative boundary merger. To ensure the timely completion of administrative procedures and the effective performance of assigned tasks, the People's Committee of Son Duong commune issued a document calling on all officials, civil servants, and employees to uphold a high sense of responsibility, focus on resolving issues definitively, strengthen coordination, work with high intensity and efficiency, and utilize all available time to complete their duties. 100% of the commune's officials, civil servants, and employees have registered to compete in completing their tasks in 2025, with many voluntarily working overtime on Saturdays and Sundays.
During the 2020-2025 period, patriotic emulation movements in the province were implemented extensively and effectively at all levels, sectors, economic components, armed forces, and among the people. Prior to the merger, the province had 139 communes meeting the new rural standards, including 21 advanced new rural communes and 8 model new rural communes. The multidimensional poverty rate decreased by an average of approximately 5% per year, with over 70,000 poor households receiving support to escape poverty compared to the beginning of the term. The province completed nearly 40,000 houses to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing for poor households during the 2021-2025 period, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people, especially those in mountainous, remote, border, and particularly disadvantaged areas.
The meaningful projects and activities being implemented in localities throughout the province not only practically celebrate the National Emulation Congress but also contribute to creating momentum to promote emulation movements, making them increasingly profound and effective. Through these concrete actions, the spirit of patriotic emulation is being strongly awakened and spread to every village and residential area, creating a combined strength for localities to successfully complete their political tasks in 2025 and subsequent years.
